Well, every online writer often struggles with this problem to come up with ideas to write every day. I, too, struggled with it for a long time.

I would sit and stare at the blank screen of my laptop for hours with no idea about what to write. Or I would write and delete again and again because nothing I write would satisfy me as a reader.

Frustrated, I would blame it as writers’ block and waste my precious time to read how to get rid of the writer’s block. And then one realization changed my whole perspective.

There is nothing called writer’s block. It is just a fancy term for procrastination.

So, when my perspective towards it changed, I underwent some minor changes and never had writer’s block.

So, how do I come up with new ideas every day?

It is simple. I make a content plan and stick to it.

Here are some tips on how to do it.

Do your keyword research

Whether you have a writing niche or you write about multiple topics, do your keyword research. Doing the research helps you to understand what kind of topics people are reading and how they are reading.

It will also give you the insight to create an outline and how much information you should share in an article. Keyword research is essential for SEO but even if you do not need SEO, it will help you to come up with ideas to write.

Create content plan

Once you gather ideas, create a content plan. If you want to write every day, which is very much possible, think how long your article can be.

If the ideas you have listed already is too broad to cover, break down it to several topics and write about a topic each day.

This way, you will know what to write every day and you can start writing as soon as you open your laptop.

If you have time to spare, you create an outline of two three articles in advance so that you can write quickly and more than a single article every day.

Browse Quora

This is a short cut to get new ideas every day.

Browse Quora and look at the questions asked. Now, sort them by your niche and write answers to the questions that fall in your niche. In fact, this post is written as an answer to a question that I sorted out last week.

You can also keep an eye on the daily email Quora sends every day. They send a list of questions that are popular and based on your activity on Quora.

In conclusion, I would like to say that adopt a strategy that involves both Keyword research and Quora questions. Just make sure you create a content plan and stick to it every day.
